FAQs
Affordable heating oil with a mission: keeping homes warm while giving back to the communities we serve in NY & NJ.
You may need to check your bulk/spam mail bin.
Our minimum order quantity for heating oil is 100 gallons.
For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit/debit cards.
When placing your order you will be notified of the projected delivery date.
Note – Delivery Standard is based on projected Winter Delivery Schedule. Delivery schedule is subject to change due to inclimate weather, vehicle maintenance, and/or other circumstances beyond our control. All deliveries will be completed within 3–5 business days from date of order. You can check the expected delivery date for your order by logging into your account and clicking on the "order history" tab.
If you are not a registered user, from our home page, click on “Price Quote.” If you are already a registered user, please log into your account and click on “Price Quote or Order Fuel.”
Your credit or debit card is charged when you place your order.
- If you order a "fill," your card will be charged for your total tank capacity. Once delivery is made, your card is automatically credited for any gallons that do not fit in your tank.
- If you order a specific number of gallons (e.g., 200 gallons), your card will be charged for the amount of your order. Once delivery is made, your account is automatically credited for any gallons that do not fit in your tank.
No matter what, you only pay for the number of gallons that you receive.
Our pricing schedule contains volume discounts, so larger deliveries receive lower prices. If your tank takes a smaller quantity than you ordered, your price per gallon may be higher. If you receive a delivery of less than 100 gallons, you will be charged a $20 minimum delivery fee in addition to the price per gallon paid. Applicable taxes will be charged, as appropriate. Use Quick Quote to determine your actual volume discounts.
Once you place your order your price is guaranteed for the quantity ordered.
Yes, in some areas. If you are out of oil or almost out, you can select “emergency delivery” when placing your order. An additional charge applies for this service.
Please read this carefully to keep your family safe:
- Close all doors, windows, and openings to retain heat.
- Use supplemental heating (wood stove, fireplace, space heater, etc.) safely as per instructions.
- Make sure you are actually out of oil—it could be a blocked fuel line, filter, strainer, or nozzle. If you still have oil but no heat, call a heating contractor.
- Place an oil order ASAP and select “emergency delivery” if available.
- If you’ve already ordered, check your order status online.
- Add kerosene or diesel fuel to your oil tank as a temporary solution (available at gas stations). Five or ten gallons will usually last a day or two.
If you’ve run out of oil, you likely need a “Prime & Start” to remove air from your fuel line so your burner can re-light. We have technicians to perform this service, which must be ordered online when you place your order. You must be home to give access to your boiler or furnace. If unavailable in your area, contact a local heating contractor.
Not usually, as long as the driver has access to your fuel tank. On the first delivery only, the dealer must inspect your heating oil tank. If you have an indoor tank, the dealer will contact you to arrange this one-time inspection. There is no cost for the inspection.
No problem. Your card will automatically be credited for any gallons you do not receive. You only pay for the gallons actually delivered.
This usually happens because your tank cannot hold the full amount. Heating oil tanks have a “usable capacity” that is less than the actual capacity (e.g., a 275-gallon tank holds about 256 gallons). The remaining space prevents spills and allows for fuel expansion. Drivers stop filling when the vent alarm signals the tank is full.
